Consistent with responses under the previous section, more than half of the surveyed programs indicated that Public Information and Resident Participation activities are an essential part of their work, and nearly 90% consider these services at least a major part of their work.
And, roughly 40 percent consider Neighborhood Development or Neighborhood Planning to be an essential element of their work, with 75 percent indicating that these services are at least a major part of their work.
